Change in Behavior
Example: Elderly kind caring man was medicated after a surgery with multiple medications. While tapering he experieced anger and confusion shown up as pour a soda on his salad thinking it was salad dressing.
Example: A kind, caring, confident man was medicated on a cocktail. He experienced questioning his self, asking permission for activies of daily living while withdrawing with a big dose of irritation at life, mainly his partner.
Example: A woman presented with suicidal thoughts, the dr ignored the drug induced symptoms presenting and added more medication to “stabilize”.
Example: A woman drove to work and had no idea how she got there.
Sometimes the changes are immediate and sometimes they are slow and insidious. Each brain is unique as are these drugs.
Remember, Depression is not a chemical imbalance.
